Membuat web service sekarang sudah menjadi kebutuhan yang harus dilakukan oleh seorang developer untuk bisa menghubungkan sistemnya agar bisa terkoneksi dari jarak jauh dengan menggunakan jaringan internet. Mungkin beberapa programmer masih memiliki konsep berpikir bahwasanya program aplikasi desktop yang kita buat dari bahasa pemrograman delphi tidak bisa berkomunikasi dengan server melalui internet. Sekarang pandangan tersebut harus dirubah karena program desktop pun bisa berkomunikasi dengan server melalui internet. Untuk bisa berkomunikasi ini perlu digunakan web service. Dan dalam tutorial ini akan diajarkan kepada anda tentang pembuatan web service sederhana pada sisi server dengan menggunakan Turbo Delphi .NET

Apa yang diperlukan ?

Pada tutorial ini digunakan sistem operasi Microsoft Windows XP Profesional dan menggunakan Turbo Dephi .NET. Tentu saja komponen lain yang diperlukan adalah IIS harus sudah terinstall dalam sistem operasi.
